Julio Boch-Curup 21-year old tragically died at the Maguire Correctional Facility after being found unresponsive in his cell, in San Mateo County, November 10, 2020, Julio committed suicide. His body has been released to a local mortuary.

 

Julio Boch-Curup at the age of 17 years old arrived in the U.S., as an undocumented unaccompanied teen. Catholic Charities had been working in his case to help him obtain a visa.

 

In behalf of his family in Guatemala and in partnership with Catholic Charities, we are appealing to your generosity for any financial support you can provide to send the body to his family in his native country, Guatemala.  We are working with a mortuary for funeral international services.

 

We have raised/contributed $3700.00, the total cost is $5300. If we have collect any additional funds, we will send them to his family for the actual funeral costs in Guatemala.
