Faith-based Crime Survivors Leadership Training

This workshop is presented in two sessions, an overview where participants will see firsthand an experienced-based restorative justice ministry engaged through presentations/videos and a small group activity session which incorporates experiential exercises and hands-on presentations of the topics discussed.

Session 1: The Overview
This overview will explore how the Archdiocese of San Francisco ministry supports homicide survivors, prisoners, justice-involved people, and families separated by incarceration, using experienced-based strategies and functions that embrace these vulnerable populations.

Session 2: The Small Group Activity
The second part of this workshop will include a small group activity.

Each topic in the activity begins with a biblical scripture passage, a brief meditation on the particular topic to read, and related questions to assist in reflecting and applying the topic.

Who should attend this workshop
This workshop is for new learners and active practitioners who want to explore an experience-based model of Restorative Justice in action including a biblical justice aspect.
